About Mateus G Rocha

Dr. Mateus Rocha received his DDS degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2013, a Master Degree and a PhD in Dental Materials from State University of Campinas, Brazil. Dr. Rocha has a career entirely dedicated to translational research in which the main focus is to apply findings from basic science to enhance oral health. With a background in computer science and internships in the field of nanoscience and chemistry, Dr. Rocha has developed singular dental biomaterials and biodevices with patents, prototypes and products. A strong believer in the power of education, Dr. Rocha is always finding educational methods to engage students in the basic concepts in dental biomaterials.
