Marc Gale Endowed Professorship
Marc Gale, D.M.D., M.Ed. is the only faculty member at UFCD who has taught every dental student who has passed through its doors. He began his storied career at UF in 1972 as an assistant professor in the Department of Operative Dentistry. Now retired as a professor emeritus, his legacy will continue through the establishment of the Marc A. Gale Professorship in Operative Dentistry. Click here for more details.
2016 Dental Fall Weekend October 14 & 15
2016 Dental Fall Weekend included hundreds of Gator Dentists and their families and friends who enjoyed UF Homecoming activities along with our meetings, pre-game tailgate and DMD class reunions. Members of the DMD classes of 1981, 1991, 1996, and 2011 celebrated milestone reunions as did the entire college when our first graduating class from 1976 gathered to celebrate their 40th reunion – truly a memorable event.

Alumni Spotlight on Diane Piper Hilton, D.M.D.
“I believe that everyone can have a positive impact on the next generation of dental professionals by mentoring students and supporting education through annual fund gifts or planned giving. Also, being active in organized and community dentistry creates a stronger voice for issues that will impact the next generation. As a young alumnus, I am still establishing myself and I may not be able to make much of an impact as an individual. But if everyone is involved; we can maintain the standard of excellence within the college, the profession, and the level of care within the state. And we can eventually truly ‘have it all.” Please click here for more.
