About Renata Lencioni
Dr. Renata Nakagawa Lencioni earned her DDS degree from the Piracicaba School of Dentistry at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, in 1999, and completed her specialist training in Endodontics at UNICAMP in 2003. She later pursued advanced education in the United States, obtaining a Master of Science in Dental Sciences with a concentration in Operative and Esthetic Dentistry from the University of Florida. Dr. Lencioni has extensive experience as a clinician in private practice, with a strong background in both endodontics and restorative dentistry, which she integrates into her teaching and patient care. Dr. Lencioni serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Endodontics, where she is dedicated to training future dentists, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and advancing evidence-based endodontic care. Her academic interests include light transmission, restoration of endodontically treated teeth, endodontic sealers, root resorption, dental trauma, artificial intelligence tools, and the interface between restorative and endodontic therapies. Dr. Lencioni values mentorship, research, and service to the community, and she is committed to preparing residents and dental students to provide compassionate, high-quality care to their patients.
