Yarmola’s long-term research interests encompass biophysics, biochemistry, structural and molecular biology, immunology, biomedical engineering, and nanotechnology.

Hamrick earned his dental and medical degrees, completed the OMFS residency program and a general surgery internship - all at the University of Florida.
