Nimmo appointed to CODA Review Committee on Prosthodontics Education

Nimmo_Arthur web acdArthur Nimmo, D.D.S., F.A.C.P, was recently appointed to the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) Review Committee on Prosthodontics Education for a three-year term. This committee is responsible for reviewing all policy matters, site visit reports and applications for accreditation in the dental specialty of prosthodontics, which are submitted to CODA for action. His service on the committee will end in 2018.

Nimmo, a faculty member of the University of Florida College of Dentistry for 16 years, serves as the director of the Predoctoral Implant Dentistry Program. He earned his bachelor’s degree at SUNY Oneonta in 1975 and his dental degree at the University of Maryland Dental School in 1979. He completed a specialty residency in prosthodontics at the UCLA Center for the Health Sciences in 1983. Nimmo is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and currently serves as the board’s vice president. He is a past president of the American College of Prosthodontists.
