About Karin C Schey

Dr. Schey graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and received her D.M.D. from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. She earned a Master of Science degree and specialty certificate in Periodontology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry. Dr. Schey is Board Certified in Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, a recognized specialty of the National Commission on Recognition of Dental Specialties and Certifying Boards. In addition to teaching in the D.M.D. and Graduate Periodontology program, Dr. Schey treats patients at the UF Health Faculty Dental Practice.

Clinical Profile

Dr. Schey treats patients at the UF Health Faculty Dental Practice and performs a variety of procedures to optimize oral and periodontal health. These procedures include treatment of periodontal disease (gum disease), soft tissue (gum) and hard tissue (bone) grafting, and dental implant surgery (placement and treatment of peri-implant diseases).
