About Luis E Rodriguez Leyva
Dr. Rodríguez completed his undergraduate studies and Doctor of Dental Medicine training at the University of Florida where he graduated with Cum Laude and Research Honors distinctions, respectively. During his dental training Dr. Rodríguez received numerous academic and clinical awards including the Clinical Excellence and Professionalism Award, the Academy of Osseointegration Student Implantology Award as well as American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Student Award of Merit for his interest on dental implants and esthetic dentistry. Dr. Rodríguez also participated on research projects one of which was accepted for publication in a peer-reviewed national journal and was awarded the UF College of Dentistry Award for Excellence in Research. He is very passionate about teaching the future generation of dental professionals and currently serves as Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the Operative Division in the Department of Restorative Dental Sciences. He is a member of major dental organizations including the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) and the International Team of Implantology (ITI).
