About Arthur Nimmo
Arthur Nimmo received his BA degree from SUNY Oneonta, DDS from the University of Maryland, and certificate in prosthodontics from UCLA. Currently, he is a University Term Professor and Director of Predoctoral Implant Dentistry at the University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD). Nimmo is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics (ABP) and a past president of the ABP. He is also a past president of the American College of Prosthodontists (ACP). Nimmo received the ACP Distinguished Service Award in 2005 and was recognized as an Alumni of Distinction at SUNY Oneonta in 2015. In November 2018, Nimmo received a University Term Professorship award from the University of Florida which recognizes faculty who have a distinguished career that places them among the leaders in their discipline. In April 2019, Nimmo received a Sustained Exemplary Teaching Award from UFCD.
