About Jennie G Ferrer-Romero
Dr. Ferrer-Romero graduated as a Valedictorian at the Central University of Venezuela in 1998. She then completed a Post-Graduate Specialization in Operative and Esthetic Dentistry (2003). She attended additional studies in the US, where she excelled and placed on the President’s Honor List, and the National Dean’s List several years. She is an Honorary Member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society of USA, since 2003, and a member of other international and national organizations including American Academy of Operative Dentistry since 2017. She has received both national and international recognition for NBDE Part II and NBDHE clinical case study publications that she has authored. She has clinical and lecturing experience since 2002. In the Central University of Venezuela, she taught dental students and dentists lectures and hands-on courses in Operative and Esthetic Dentistry. She has taught Dental Sciences and Dental Specialties as well as clinical skills at a college and university level in the State of Florida, USA. In the University of Florida College of Dentistry, she initially performed as the Chief Resident in the Master of Science in Operative and Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Florida. Later, she earned her Master of Science degree in Dental Sciences with concentration in Operative and Esthetic Dentistry in 2020 as well as she earned a Certificate in an Advanced Education Program in Operative and Esthetic Dentistry from 2017-2020. Afterwards, she has been a full-time clinical faculty in all DMD clinics, as well as in the CAD/CAM Aesthetic DMD Clinic. She teaches didactic, clinical and preclinical courses in the Department of Restorative Dental Sciences, Division of Operative. She is also clinical faculty in the Residency program of Graduate Operative and Esthetic Dentistry. She is also a pre-clinical and clinical faculty in the Restorative Functions for DA, and RDHs in Continuing Education 120-h certification course at UFCD. She is also the founder and leader faculty of the “Restorative Only” volunteer community work under the FreeDom clinics noon- profit organization and UFCD; She together with 20 UFCD DMD D3s and D4 students, serve an average of 40-60 patients monthly. Besides, since 2011 to this date, she has been the founder, CEO, and main preclinical instructor of American Board Dental & Hygiene Licensure Prep Courses Corporation. She passed her National Board Dental Examinations and she has taught many academic and clinical courses in Dental Sciences and Dental Specialties with focus on teaching National Boards and State boards/ADEX hand on courses to help many international students to become Licensed dentists and Licensed dental hygienists in the USA.
