Kelley L Borders, D.M.D.

Kelley L. Borders, D.M.D. earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of South Florida in 1999 and her Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Florida, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2003. Dr. Borders received numerous awards during her training at UF, including The Academy of General Dentistry’s Senior Student Award, The Academy of Esthetic Dentistry’s Student Award of Merit, the Dr. Martin S. Lebowitz Memorial Award for outstanding achievement in oral and maxillofacial surgery, and the Alpha Omega International Dental Fraternity’s award for attaining the highest academic standing in her graduating class. She was also recognized by the American College of Prosthodontists for outstanding achievement in prosthodontics and was elected to membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) Honor Dental Society, Xi Omicron chapter. After spending more than 30 years working in all aspects of private dental practice, including almost 20 years as a general dentist & practice owner, Dr Borders returned to the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2022 to fulfill her lifetime goal of teaching. Dr. Borders is currently a full-time Clinical Assistant Professor in the Division of Pre-Doctoral General Dentistry in the Department of Restorative Dental Sciences and serves as a TEAM Leader in the TEAMS Program.
