The division director is responsible for leadership in the areas of teaching, research, service and faculty development for faculty in the division.
His new administrative duties include leadership for division faculty and staff, overseeing the curriculum, facilitating professional development, and working closely with departmental leadership to ensure successful inter-departmental and interdisciplinary collaborations
The new position includes oversight of overall operations of a new predoctoral screening clinic where people interested in becoming patients in the DMD clinics are assessed and assigned to students.
Sposetti has worked tirelessly to create and foster interdisciplinary education opportunities for our predoctoral students as well as teaching courses throughout her 39 years with the college.
Congratulations to UF College of Dentistry researchers who received funding for projects in November and December 2018.
The chapter coordinated two community service events focused on promoting oral hygiene to second and third graders at the Alachua County Boys and Girls Club, and to high school students at Hawthorne High School.
The two colleges will collaborate to improve health care for vulnerable populations while providing valuable learning opportunities for students.
Poliana Mendes Duarte, D.D.S., M.S., Ph.D., joined the UF College of Dentistry as a visiting clinical associate professor in the UF Department of Periodontology.
