Gainesville Dental Centers

UF College of Dentistry centers in Gainesville offer a complete range of general and specialty care for adults and children – in one location. We offer the latest technologies in a professional learning environment, conveniently located at the UF Academic Health Center.

Faculty Practice Dental Centers

Our expert faculty provide all general and specialty dental care in one location in a private practice environment for patients 14 years of age & up. Fees are comparable to private practice. 

Resident Dental Centers

Residents, who have a dental degree and are specializing in an area of dentistry, practice with faculty supervision. Fees are generally 80 percent of those in private practice.

Quality, affordable care is provided by dental students under close supervision of experienced faculty in our general dental centers. We treat patients from 14 years of age & up.

Fees are generally 50 percent less than private practice. Before becoming a patient, an initial screening appointment will be done to ensure that your dental needs are compatible with students’ educational needs. 

Faculty supervise and evaluate each treatment step provided by student dentists, so treatment takes longer than in a typical dental office. If that works for you, and your dental needs meet our students’ educational needs, this could be a great option. If your dental needs aren’t suited for this educational environment, we will refer you to another care group where residents or faculty provide care. 

SOS – Urgent Dental Care | 352-273-6705 

Tooth extractions are performed for a fee that covers an exam, X-ray and one simple extraction. A limited number of patients are seen beginning at 7 a.m., Monday – Friday. Dental students treat patients under faculty supervision.

Dental residents provide a complete range of dental and oral health services for adults and children under faculty supervision.

NCF Pediatric Dental Center, Naples | 239-920-4523 

The center offers complete dental care for children, including routine and sedation services, and a special sensory room to care for children with autism-related sensory challenges. Dental care is provided by pediatric dental residents under faculty supervision.

St. Petersburg Dental Center, Seminole  | 727-893-5050 

Dental residents provide a complete range of dental and oral health services for adults and children under faculty supervision. 

UF Health Dentistry—Wildlight, near Yulee | 904-427-8587

Faculty provide comprehensive oral health care for your entire family including general dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, and oral and maxillofacial surgery for adults and children.

Dental Insurance

Our dental centers in Gainesville, Hialeah, Naples, St. Petersburg and Wildlight accept a variety of group insurance, and Medicaid and Managed Care insurance plans. Visit the Accepted Insurances page on our website for a current list for each dental center.

If you have a different dental insurance, payment is required at the time of service and we can assist you in filing for reimbursement from your insurance company by providing a dental claim form.

Payment Options

For your convenience, we honor all major credit cards, checks and cash for dental payment. Payment is expected at time of service or you can pay online using this secure link on our website.

Fees are based on usual and customary charges for services in our area and are subject to change.
