Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology Service

A collage of dental imaging showing a metal implant within the jaw from multiple angles, including CT scans and a color-coded stress analysis diagram.

We provide a full spectrum of diagnostic imaging services, including capture and interpretation of conventional and cone beam CT, or CBCT, scans. Our facility is accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission, or IAC. All images captured sill include an interpretation report.

Dentists can also submit cases online through our HIPAA-compliant secure web portal for a radiology report that provides the optimal radiographic diagnosis of clinical concerns. Qualified oral and maxillofacial radiologists provide radiographic interpretation services that can aid dentists in providing the highest quality care for their patients.

We provide a comprehensive written report that addresses clinical concerns and interprets any pathologic findings or variants of normal anatomy. Specific questions that need to be answered should be included in the prescription.

Digital radiograph interpretation, including intraoral and panoramic images.

MDCT and MRI images of the maxillofacial region.

Cone Beam CT

CBCT is widely used in all fields of dentistry, including implant treatment planning, orthognathic surgery, developmental anomalies, localization of impacted teeth, lesions in the maxillofacial region, external and internal resorption, locating canals for achieving successful endodontic treatment, identifying and analyzing unusual root and tooth anatomy, identifying signs of roots and bone fractures, airway analysis, and tracing inferior alveolar canals to determine their proximity to planned treatment areas. CBCT is also useful in TMJ imaging to assess osseous changes in the TMJ region. The greatest advantage of CBCT is its 3D volumetric and sectional analysis of structures.

Please contact us for a thorough interpretation of the entire volume to reduce potential liability.
