The SNDA was founded in 1972 in Nashville. The organization is affiliated with the National Dental Association, which was the first organized form of dentistry in the United States. The goals of the SNDA are to promote oral health in minorities as well as provide support for academic and professional success of its members.

About Us

The Student National Dental Association (SNDA) was founded on the campus of Meharry Medical College in 1970. SNDA aims to create a family environment within dental school. Many of our members feel a sense of belonging when joining SNDA and create friendships that last a lifetime.
