The American Association of Women Dentists was formed by a group of female dentists in 1921 so they could "share their common interests and enjoy friendships and camaraderie. Today, AAWD is the leading resource for advancing, connecting, and enriching the lives of women dentists."

About Us
UF AAWD was established in 2005 and has served to connect women dental students and dental faculty through social, service, lunch and learn, and networking events. We have 93 active members and run over 30 events each calendar year!

What We Can Do For You
UF AAWD will provide events that cater to every woman dental student. We put on a variety of events ranging from yoga to group cooking or painting classes. We give back to the community through service events and allow for networking to occur between D1, D2, D3 and D4 students.
