Mission
The Orthodontics Interest Group (OIG) functions to promote students’ understanding of the discipline of orthodontics through lectures, discussions, community service events, and lunch and learns with faculty members, residents, and practicing orthodontists. The group also functions to educate students on the orthodontic residency process.

Purpose
Furthermore, the group aims to encourage University of Florida College of Dentistry students to participate in the field of orthodontics by providing support for participation in both the UFCD Graduate Orthodontic Clinic and local orthodontic offices.

About Us
Orthodontics Interest Group (OIG) is an organization that exists to engage, involve, and educate students in orthodontic knowledge research, and new technologies. Through lectures and group discussion OIG provides students with information about what orthodontists do, and understanding in the discipline.
