Purpose
Ally-Gators is the first Gay-Straight Alliance at any dental school in the state of Florida. We will lead the way in promoting LGBTQ+ related medical and dental education along with public health and mental health awareness outlets. We encourage kindness and foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.

About Us
In 2017, students and faculty worked together to found Ally-Gator, the first gay-straight alliance at any dental school in Florida. We are advocates for LGBTQ+ related medical and dental education and provide outlets for public and mental health awareness.

What We Can Do For You
Members and non-members of the LGBTQ+ community are welcome to join and participate in any capacity. Membership is available for all students, faculty, and staff interested in supporting the organization. Members will gain a greater understanding of the LGBTQ+ community, both epidemiologically and personally. Guest speakers will be invited to share their professional and personal experiences as they relate to the field of dentistry.
