About Us

Established in 2020 by Dean Garcia, the Black Student Advocacy Group was created to provide a space for Black students to share their experience in dental school with UFCD administration. Since then, BSAG and UFCD have partnered to improve the experience of all students. Due to the continuing hard work and partnership between BSAG and UFCD, the DMD Class of 2025 had the largest population of Black students in UFCD history, and this trend was repeated in the DMD Class of 2026.
