Admissions Outreach Ambassadors

Mission

Admissions Outreach Ambassadors (AOAs), started in 2012, is comprised of dental students who are committed to help get the word out about the excellence of UF’s dental education program and encourage the best and brightest future dentists to commit to become Gator Dentists. AOAs demonstrate a commitment to the college’s mission and values, making them exceptional representatives to future dental students as well as exceptional leaders in UFCD.

Admissions Outreach Ambassadors

Purpose

Members of the AOA actively recruit prospective students, helping to establish thousands of connections with pre-dental students and help organize multiple outreach and recruitment events including college’s pre-dental Fair, pre-dental forums, interview day tours, and recruiting events at UF and other universities and colleges in Florida.

About Us

Made up of second, third, and fourth year DMD students, Admissions Outreach Ambassadors are often the first UFCD students that applicants encounter in their admissions journey. Whether it’s being a friendly face on interview day, leading prospective students in a tour, or connecting with pre-dental students at the Pre-dental fair, AOAs serve a valuable role in the admissions process, helping to welcome new gators to their home in UFCD.
Select members can also participate as student representatives on the Admissions Committee and contribute to admissions decisions for incoming dental classes.
