Division of Oral Medicine

The OMDS Oral Medicine and Oncology Clinic offers consultation services to practitioners and patients with a variety of oral symptoms. Our oral medicine faculty teach oral medicine courses and are involved in a number of various research projects.


Oral Medicine Clinic

The Oral Medicine Clinic is designed to provide care to patients with unusual or diagnostically challenging oral lesions or conditions. Staffed by clinicians with specialty training and expertise in oral and maxillofacial pathology, the clinic is prepared to diagnose and, if indicated or requested, treat:

  • Benign, pre-malignant, and malignant oral lesions
  • Vesiculo-ulcerative disorders
  • Infections
  • Oral manifestations of systemic diseases
  • Osseous pathology of the jaws
  • Oral manifestations of immuno-deficiency

The Oral Medicine Clinic offers consultation regarding clinical dental therapeutics. A report that includes examination findings, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations will be provided by mail, telephone, e-mail or fax. Clinic hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
