The UF College of Dentistry and the Arc of Alachua County have partnered to provide oral health screenings and prevention-focused dental care to adults with special health care needs in North Central Florida. The purpose of this program is to enhance access to oral health care for persons with intellectual, developmental, or acquired disabilities through collaboration with patients, caregivers, and community partners. This program is made possible through funding from the CareQuest Institute for Oral Health and the Alachua County Commission.
Interested participants or their guardians, caregivers, or representatives may complete the appointment request below. A member of the UF College of Dentistry will contact you to provide additional details and schedule an appointment.

Services Offered
- Secure online teledentistry visits
- Dental screenings and referrals
- Oral hygiene and nutrition education
- Desensitization and behavioral support
- Preventive dental treatments including fluoride varnish and silver diamine fluoride
- Limited dental care including protective dental fillings
- This program does not offer dental care under sedation or general anesthesia

The patient’s parent or legal guardian must be present if the patient is not able to provide informed consent for care.
