School-Based Programs

Our oral health surveillance programs enable the College of Dentistry to take a snapshot of Alachua County’s health needs, plan oral health programs, and evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs. Oral health surveillance dental screenings, our school-based dental sealant program and our fluoride varnish program all work to surveil and address oral health needs in the community.
