Building a Brilliant Tomorrow

The College of Dentistry’s landmark renovation and expansion will create a new gateway to the University of Florida and its Academic Health Center. This project is set to add more than 100,000 square feet of state-of-the-art space for teaching, research and patient care at Florida’s only public dental school.

“Florida keeps growing, and that growth brings a huge demand for skilled dental professionals. This project helps us with that demand. It helps us serve more families. It expands access to care, and it strengthens Florida’s workforce for decades to come.” — UF Board of Trustees Chair Mori Hosseini

Naming Opportunities

The college has identified more than 300 naming opportunities throughout the renovated and expanded Dental Science Building.

These include classrooms, clinics, research labs, collaborative spaces and patient-centered areas.

An interior architectural rendering of a bright, modern learning studio. The spacious room is filled with rows of long white tables and grey chairs facing a massive, ultra-wide digital display screen on the front wall. The ceiling features a distinctive, intricate geometric grid pattern with integrated lighting. Floor-to-ceiling windows line the entire right wall, offering a view of a grassy outdoor area. Several abstract, orange silhouette figures are positioned throughout the room—one standing at the front and a few seated at the tables—to illustrate the scale and use of the space.

Programmatic & Priority Support

Beyond the building itself, philanthropic funding can support the programs that bring the space to life, including student success, faculty excellence, research innovation and expanded clinical services.

Under a white event tent, a man wearing a white lab coat stands behind a bright orange table, holding a handheld dental device and a pink mold of teeth. He is actively explaining a demonstration to two men standing across from him, who are listening intently. One man wears a green blazer and tie, and the other wears a black jacket and glasses. A laptop and a cup of pens sit on the table in the foreground. In the background, a stage area is visible with University of Florida College of Dentistry branding.
