Welcoming New Faculty

Dr. Hathan is moving from her residency program at UFCD to clinical assistant professor in operative dentistry.

Dr. Ortegosa will keep it in the Gator family, moving from resident in Hialeah to clinical assistant professor & team leader in St. Pete.

From adjunct clinical assistant professor to team leader, we're lucky to have Dr. Sanchez working with our DMD students.

Dr. Montesino-Goicolea moved from fellow to research assistant professor at the college. She'll continue research at UF's PRICE.

Dr. Sam joined UFCD this spring as a clinical assistant professor in the Division of Radiology.

Dr. Karaiskou joined UFCD's faculty this spring and is a visiting clinical assistant professor in the Department of Periodontology.

Dr. Lee returned to Gainesville this spring in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry after completing a residency at UFCD in 2020.

Dr. Smallwood is providing care and supervising dental hygienists and dental students during their Marion County Health Department clinical rotations.

UFCD welcomed Dr. Bhula on November 1 as the oral radiology clinic director in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Diagnostic Sciences.
