Restorative Dental Sciences

The University of Florida College of Dentistry faculty recognized awardees from the DMD Class of 2019, followed by a cake and punch reception.

The event recognizes the many people who contribute to the excellence of the UF College of Dentistry's educational programs.

DMD Sophomore Sean Lan was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force by Rondre F. Baluyot, D.M.D., on April 11, 2018.

This biennial faculty award aims to encourage, stimulate and support early-career faculty clinicians in their chosen professional path and highlight their activities.

In November 2017, Fernando Haddock, D.D.S., joined the University of Florida Department of Restorative Dental Sciences in the Division of Operative Dentistry as a clinical assistant professor.

Luisa Schertel Cassiano, D.D.S., M.S., joined the UF Department of Restorative Dental Sciences as a clinical assistant in the operative division in July 2017.

He will be responsible for identifying and cultivating major gifts for the college, fundraising plans and policies, and building alumni relationships.

Dr. Wang joined the UF Department of Restorative Dental Sciences in July 2017 as a clinical assistant professor in the Division of Prosthodontics.

Dr. Zoidis joined the college in April 2017 as a visiting clinical associate professor in the UF Department of Restorative Dental Sciences in the Division of Prosthodontics.
