Dr. Sam joined UFCD this spring as a clinical assistant professor in the Division of Radiology.

UFCD welcomed Dr. Bhula on November 1 as the oral radiology clinic director in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Diagnostic Sciences.

She is teaching pre-doctoral and graduate dental students in a variety of didactic courses, and serving as a mentor for UF oral pathology residents.

Gohel brings a wealth of experience clinically, academically and in leadership roles.

Cohen served as the residency director of the Oral Pathology Program, division director of Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology, and acting chair and chair of Oral Maxillofacial Diagnostic Sciences.

Pahadia joined UFCD as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Diagnostic Sciences Division of Radiology.

The award funds research to investigate Sjögren’s Syndrome, an autoimmune condition that mainly affects the salivary and lachrymal glands.

Dr. Gohel is the 2020-21 President-Elect of the American Academy of Oral & Maxillofacial Radiology.

The American Academy of Oral Medicine award recognizes outstanding contributions in the field of oral medicine.
