Scheduling Classrooms and Conference Rooms

Classrooms and conference rooms can be reserved for academic and administrative use. Please follow the guidelines below to ensure proper scheduling and availability.

Classroom Scheduling

  • Check classroom availability using Outlook Proxy Scheduling
  • If available, contact the Office of Education: dn-dmd-support@dental.ufl.edu
  • To request Mediasite recording, email: esallee@ufl.edu
  • For pre-classroom support consultations, call: 352-273-7892

Special Use Classroom (D8-46):

  • This classroom’s primary use is for videoconferencing and distance learning
  • These activities take scheduling priority College business takes priority over non-business events
  • Rescheduling requires advance notice when possible
  • Requests must include:
    • Name
    • Phone number
    • Email
    • Group name
    • Purpose of meeting

Conference Room Scheduling

  • Reserve conference rooms through Outlook calendar appointments
  • Some rooms require additional approval
  • Example: D4-16
    • Primarily used by the Dean’s Office
    • Confirm scheduling in advance with the Dean’s Office

Mediasite Rooms (Important for Presenters)

Rooms include: C1-9, C1-11, C1-15, C1-17, D3-03, D8-46

  • A lapel microphone must be worn during presentations
  • Audio will not be recorded without it

  • Dispose of food, beverages, and recyclables properly
  • Follow scheduling priority rules for shared spaces
  • Adhere to room-specific policies (e.g., food permissions, usage restrictions)

  • Direct guests to the UF Wireless Network FAQ
  • Use UFvisitor network for temporary access
  • Access is available for up to one week
