Faculty Assembly

Committee Composition

The membership of the Assembly will be composed of all compensated faculty of the College of Dentistry with an appointment of 0.6 FTE or more. The Faculty Assembly elects a Chair, who serves as the presiding officer, and a Secretary from its membership.

Individual Faculty Member Responsibilities

Members of the Faculty Assembly and are expected to attend bi-monthly meetings which are held in the months of January, March, May, July, September, and November. Meetings are held from 12:00-1:30 p.m. in D3-3 on the Wednesday of the designated month (unless affected by an official holiday). Each member of the Faculty Assembly will have all the privileges of membership, including the right to vote, nominate and receive all communications of the Assembly.

Time commitment: Approximately 2 hours every other month and one annual faculty retreat.

Schedule of Meetings

Faculty Assembly meetings will be held from 12 – 1:00 p.m. in room D3-3, unless otherwise noted.
