University of Florida College of Dentistry double-alumna Angela McNeight, D.M.D., M.S., will represent UFCD as one of this year’s UF Alumni Association 40 Gators Under 40, an honor bestowed upon young, outstanding UF alumni whose achievements – both professional and service-oriented in nature – positively impact The Gator Nation.
A proud Gator Dentist and OrthoGator, McNeight is co-owner of Caudill & McNeight Orthodontics alongside fellow Gator Dentist Ryan Caudill, D.M.D., M.S., where she specializes in aesthetic orthodontics with an emphasis on technological advancements and innovative processes to achieve the best results in the shortest amount of time. Caudill & McNeight, an Invisalign Diamond Provider, boasts three locations on Florida’s Space Coast in Melbourne, Merritt Island and, most recently, a new state-of-the-art health complex in Viera.
McNeight and this year’s 40 Under 40 honorees will be celebrated March 27-28 on the UF campus with a welcome reception, immersive impact experience and the annual 40 Gators Under 40 Awards Celebration Soirée.
McNeight was born and raised in Melbourne and earned her bachelor’s degree from Emory University before graduating cum laude from the UF College of Dentistry in 2013. She then completed a three-year orthodontic residency program in 2016 to earn her Master of Science degree in orthodontics through UFCD’s School of Advanced Dental Sciences.
Upon graduation, McNeight returned home and partnered Caudill to create Caudill & McNeight Orthodontics. She transformed the office into a fully digital practice using 3D STL scans and 3D printers to fabricate clear aligners, retainers and models. Since joining the practice in 2016, she has grown practice production by 111%. She also earned board certification in 2021.
McNeight currently serves as the Leadership Development Chair to the Southern Association of Orthodontists and is the southeastern representative on the American Association of Orthodontists Council on Membership, Ethics and Judicial Concerns.
She recently served as the President of the Brevard County Dental Society and the chair of the Florida Dental Association Leadership Development Committee. She created an annual Give Kids A Smile event that has provided over $80,000 of free dental care to over 350 children over the past five years.
When community water fluoridation was removed from the Mims, Florida, water supply in 2021, she created and lead a task force of local and national health professionals to champion the oral health of the residents.
We’re incredibly proud to call Dr. McNeight a Gator Dentist and can’t wait to welcome her back to campus this month. Congratulations on a tremendous career honor!
