For the UF College of Dentistry, 2024 was a spectacular year of progress and achievement and we’re sharing a few of our highlights here:
- Deliver oral healthcare to patients from all 67 Florida counties annually.
- 100% first-attempt board pass rates for DMD and specialty programs.
- #3 among public dental schools and #6 overall in NIH research funding for dental schools; ranked in top 10 since 2000.
- Received 2,145 applications for 93 DMD positions and 1,572 applications for 65 advanced dental education positions in the most-recent cycle; average acceptance rate is 4.4%.
- 75% of UF DMD and 57% of advanced education graduates remain in Florida.
