Welcoming New Faculty: Indaiá Soares Leibovitch

Indaia Soares Leibovitch, D.D.S., M.S.

The UF Department of Endodontics welcomed back Indaiá Soares Leibovitch, D.D.S., on October 11 as a clinical assistant professor. She completed a preceptorship in the UFCD Department of Endodontics in 2015 followed by a three-year endodontics residency at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2021.

A native of Brazil, Leibovitch earned her dental degree in 2004 from the Universidade de Santo Amaro in São Paulo, Brazil. From 2004 to 2014 she worked in private practice in São Paulo and from 2011 to 2014, she also served in the Brazilian Army as a dentist. Leibovitch has more than 500 hours of teaching experience at the Associação Paulista de Cirurgiões  Dentistas in São Paulo and the University of Michigan.

Leibovitch is focusing most of her attention on teaching dental students and residents, and will also pursue research interests in regenerative endodontics and provide care in the UF Health Endodontics Faculty Practice in Gainesville.
