Dr. Bauman is the director of the UF Health Dentistry – Wildlight center in Yulee, Florida.

Eric Bauman, D.M.D., M.S., joined the UF College of Dentistry in the Operative Division in Restorative Dental Sciences on August 21 as a clinical assistant professor and, on February 22, 2021, became the practice director for UF Health Dentistry – Wildlight in Yulee.

Dr. Bauman brings 13 years of education and professional experience in dentistry with an emphasis on adhesive dentistry and the evolving digital marketplace.

Before earning his dental degree in 2006 from the Oregon Health and Sciences University in Portland, Dr. Bauman attended Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania, where he earned a bachelor’s in biology in 2002.

From 2006 to 2020, Dr. Bauman served as a dentist with the United States Navy. While his most-recent assignment was in Jacksonville, he was also stationed in Okinawa and Yoksuka, Japan; on Diego Garcia in the British Indian Ocean Territory; and in Portsmouth, Virginia, Bethesda, Maryland, and two locations in Guam. During his naval service he also earned a master’s in oral biology from the Uniformed Services University of The Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland, in 2016. Bauman is a Diplomate of the American Board of General Dentistry, a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry and has earned certificates Comprehensive Dentistry and an Advanced Education in General Dentistry.
