“My heart for teaching at the university dovetails with my passion in providing quality and compassionate care as a dentist, especially to those who are most in need.”

On August 21, Stephanni Terza, D.M.D., returned to the college as a clinical assistant professor in the Operative Dentistry Division of Restorative Dental Sciences, having graduated from UF with her dental degree in 2013.

Terza’s focus is teaching dental students in didactic and preclinical settings. She attended UF for her bachelor’s and dental degrees and, following graduation, she completed a general practice residency in Asheville, North Carolina, at the Mountain Area Health Education Center. Since 2017, she has worked at Magnolia Family Dental in Gainesville and served as an adjunct faculty member at UFCD.

Terza has volunteered extensively with community service projects and looks forward to a career in academia that allows her to combine an interest in dental education with community service.

“My heart for teaching at the university dovetails with my passion in providing quality and compassionate care as a dentist, especially to those who are most in need,” Terza said.
