Allison Sley
Sley, a 2013 graduate of the college, will focus on clinical teaching predoctoral students in the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Allison Sley, D.M.D., joined the UF Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery on July 6 as a clinical assistant professor and will focus on clinical teaching predoctoral students in the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Sley graduated in 2008 from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s in food science and human nutrition, specializing in nutritional sciences before earning her dental degree from UF in 2013.

After graduation Sley stayed in Florida and worked at Heartland Dental in Okeechobee and Lake Worth and at Anderson Dental in West Palm Beach. In 2018, she became a senior dentist with the Florida Department of Corrections in Lake Butler, managing oral health care for over 2,651 patients, and overseeing two general dental clinics, an oral surgery clinic and an endodontic clinic.
