Congratulations to Eleonora Bakiri, D.D.S., a clinical assistant professor in endodontics, who was appointed program director for the Endodontics Predoctoral Program in August 2019.
As program director, she is responsible for oversight of the didactic, preclinical and clinical predoctoral curriculum for the UF Department of Endodontics. This includes developing and implementing the curriculum plan, ongoing evaluation of the program, and maintaining records related to the program. Bakiri also provides patient care in the UF Health Endodontics Faculty Practice.
Bakiri earned her dental degree in 2000 from the University of Athens in Athens, Greece. In 2002, she completed two years of training in endodontics at the University of Texas in Houston.
She has 15 years of experience in private endodontics practice and is a member of the International College of Dentists and a founding member of the Hellenic Association of Endodontists. Bakiri has also delivered a number of scientific presentations in the U.S. and internationally.
