Carlo Guevara, M.D., D.D.S., joined the UF Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in July as a clinical assistant professor. His time will be focused on working with predoctoral and graduate education in the department, as well as working in the residency care center.
Guevara earned his dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in New York in 2010 and his medical degree in 2014 from the University of Florida. He completed an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville in 2016 and a fellowship in Pediatric Cleft-Craniofacial Surgery at Wolfson Children’s Hospital, also in Jacksonville.
He received the Resident Teaching Award in 2016 from the UF College of Medicine’s Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in Jacksonville.
