Gold earns certification in public health

Jaana GoldCongratulations to Jaana Gold, D.D.S., M.P.H., C.P.H., Ph.D., who was recently recognized by the National Board of Public Health Examiners (NBPHE) as Certified in Public Health (CPH). Gold is an adjunct associate professor in the University of Florida department of community dentistry and behavioral science. Gold also earned her master’s in public health from UF in August 2015.

The Certified in Public Health (CPH) credential demonstrates knowledge of key public health sciences, but also a commitment to the field through continuing education focused on emerging and established public health issues.

The NBPHE Certified in Public Health (CPH) program demonstrates that students and graduates from CEPH-accredited schools and programs of public health have mastered required core and cross-cutting competencies and addresses the need for greater recognition of public health as a health profession.
