Week of celebration marks inauguration of UF’s 12th president

President-Fuchs-Headshot-214x300Today kicks off a week of events to celebrate the inauguration of Kent Fuchs, the University of Florida’s 12th president.

A series of interactive activities and open-house events are planned for the campus community, and the celebration culminates Friday, Dec. 4, with Dr. Fuchs’ investiture – the ceremony during which he will be officially installed as president. The investiture ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. in the University Auditorium. Space is limited, but it will be livestreamed and viewable at five campus locations, as well as extension offices statewide.

As part of Dr. Fuchs’ official welcome to the University of Florida, we invite you to download the photo banner from here: http://inauguration.ufl.edu/prezInauguration.jpg and post on Facebook and Twitter.
