Dental Ambassadors planning 2014 Annual Acid Etch Talent Show

Dental students are a pretty talented bunch. So it makes sense that others in the profession are as well. That’s why the Dental Ambassadors, a group of D.M.D. students who organize the show, are encouraging everyone in the college – faculty, staff, residents and D.M.D. students – to get involved in this year’s Annual Acid Etch Talent Show, March 25 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the University of Florida HPNP Auditorium.

Acid Etch FINALAcid Etch is an annual talent show at the UF College of Dentistry that raises money for a worthwhile cause. This year all of the proceeds will benefit the UF Craniofacial Center, helping support surgeries for children born with cleft lip/palate.

The Dental Ambassadors raise money through ticket sales and sponsorships, as well as a bake-off. Participants can enter the talent competition and/or the bake off, or apply to be the show’s emcee.

Wondering what kind of act to put together? You can get an idea here: Driller, Dent Shop and Dentist.

Tickets are $3 in advance and $5 at the door. Ticket sales begin March 10, 2014 and will be available in the Office of Education or, for students, by contacting your class representative:
