Congratulations to two University of Florida College of Dentistry D.M.D. students who were chosen to receive $3,000 scholarships from the Hinman Board of Trustees. Tyler Oatmen and Lauren Andreolas, both members of the Class of 2015, received the scholarships following a faculty vote reflecting their choice for “outstanding scholar.”
The awards are given each year to two outstanding junior dental students and will be presented during the 2014 Thomas P. Hinman Dental Meeting in Atlanta, Ga., in March. In addition to the scholarships, the recipients’ travel to the meeting, and their accommodations and meals for a portion of the meeting, is paid for by the Hinman Board of Trustees.
