Senior Faculty Luncheon

13 retired faculty lunch smallEach year the University of College of Dentistry hosts a holiday luncheon with retired faculty members and their spouses. This year the event was held on Dec. 5, 2013, at the UF Hilton Hotel and Conference Center. In addition to having time to catch up with old friends and colleagues, attendees heard from Robert Burne, Ph.D., associate dean for research and chair of oral biology, about the current state of research at the college and plans for the coming years, and from Boyd Robinson, D.D.S., M.Ed., interim dean of the college.

And everyone enjoyed live musical entertainment from “Wound Tight,” an acoustic duo made up of two alumni from the college. Scott Jackson, a member of the DMD Class of 1995, and Andy Cohen, D.M.D., who graduated from the college’s orthodontics residency program. Both Jackson and Cohen live and practice in Ocala, Fla.
