High achievement for the Class of 2013

The University of Florida College of Dentistry Class of 2013 achieved an outstanding 100% first time pass rate on Part One of the National Board Dental Exams in June. Congratulations to all of the students, and to the faculty and staff who played a role in this accomplishment.

On June 24, the class also participated in their White Coat Ceremony at the UF Center for the Performing Arts that marked a transition to a new phase of their dental training as they enter the clinics and begin caring for patients. Hundreds of family, friends, and college faculty and staff, attended the ceremony.

During the White Coat Ceremony, Teresa A. Dolan, D.D.S., M.P.H., professor and dean, praised the students for their pass rate, “That is an outstanding accomplishment and reflects very positively on the quality of faculty, students, staff and the overall learning environment at the College of Dentistry. But most importantly, demonstrates the academic excellence of the Class of 2013.”
