On Oct. 10, the University of Florida Center for Pain Research held its 7th Annual Pain Research Day bringing together clinical and basic science faculty to showcase their research to colleagues in the UF Health Science Center.
It also provided an opportunity for interaction and discussion of common interests in a social and academic environment. The keynote speaker for the event was Dr. David Borsook from Harvard who spoke on how functional imaging is changing pain diagnosis and treatment, providing an interesting look into the future of pain management. More than 100 people attended events during the day.
