Three pediatric dental faculty members have earned board certification from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. These diplomats include Daniela Silva, D.D.S., M.S., and Flavio Soares, D.D.S., M.S., both assistant professors of pediatric dentistry, and Marcio Guelmann, D.D.S., associate professor and chairman of pediatric dentistry. Their diplomate status demonstrates successful completion of an advanced educational program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation and completion of the board’s examination process.
