UFCD New Staff Orientation-May 2008
New College of Dentistry TEAMS/USPS, Post-Doc Associates, and OPS employees are invited to the New Staff Orientation.  During this orientation, you will learn about the college, its vision and mission, policies and procedures, time reporting, upcoming events, get a tour of the college clinics and departments, and take your new staff photo.  Breakfast will be served.

ECO Training - May 30, 2008

Location: C3-13 HSC Training Center at 3:00 - 4:30pm
The goal of this training session is to:
1) provide an overview of the new ECO features(homepage, student images, communication, competency and gradebook features)
2) to work with faculty and staff that manage gradebooks
3) receive feedback on how you use the electronic curriculum organizer.

2008 UFCD Staff Retreat The 2008 UFCD Staff Retreat is just around the corner!

     When: Friday, June 6, 2008  (Breakfast at 8:00am,
                program begins at 8:30am)
     Where: Beautiful Lake Wauburg
     Who: All UFCD staff

Join your colleagues for a fun and informative day. This year, Dean Teresa Dolan will join us to present her annual state of the college address. Dr. Bob Parks will be on hand to present "The Pygmalion Effect: Managing the Power of Expectations," a training session you will not want to miss. In the afternoon, Arts in Medicine will teach us how to reduce stress. A continental breakfast will be served and lunch will be catered by HogWild! See you there.
Interviewing and Hiring (SCS040)
Jodi Gentry from the Office of Human Resource Services will be presenting one of the core courses for the Pro3 Series HR/Payroll Management Certification: Interviewing and Hiring. Using group participation, interactive exercises, and a video presentation, this training will show you how to take the guesswork out of hiring so that you can hire not just "an" employee, but "the right" employee. Get tips on screening and interviewing plus ways to make a good job/person match. This training is geared toward faculty and staff.
