Three of the 15 nationwide Pugh Achievement Award winners are from the University of Florida College of Dentistry.

Dr. Abi Adewumi, Dr. Monica Fernandez, Dr. Olga Luaces, Dr. Patricia Pereira and Dr. Ana Dias Ribeiro each earned 2017 ADEA/AAL Faculty of Color Tuition Scholarships for 2017 professional development opportunities.

“Making Safe Moves” is an interprofessional education course and collaboration between the College of Dentistry and the Department of Physical Therapy in the College of Public Health and Health Professions (PHHP) at UF Health.

Cesar Migliorati, D.D.S., M.S., Ph.D., joins the college on March 1, 2017, as a professor appointed associate dean for clinical affairs and quality.

Robert A. Burne, Ph.D, was recently elected by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) as a member-at-large to the section on Dentistry and Oral Health Sciences.

Dr. Roulet will be a keynote speaker and honored as Doctor Honoris Causa at the Congress of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Bucharest, Romania, in March.

The College of Dentistry's Patty Probert, Ph.D., was the principal investigator on the SHPEP grant. Dentistry will be one of 12 professions in the FREE six-week residential program.

Nimmo was installed as the 67th president of the American Board of Prosthodontics.
