UFCD awarded its Teachers of the Year, exemplary teaching awards and educational committees during a reception on April 9, 2019.

Sposetti has worked tirelessly to create and foster interdisciplinary education opportunities for our predoctoral students as well as teaching courses throughout her 39 years with the college.

Tsuyoshi Tanaka, D.D.S., M.S.D., a clinical assistant professor and periodontist, is serving as the program director for the periodontology aspects of the DMD curriculum.

Michael A. Aguirre, D.M.D., who earned his dental degree from UF in 2017, recently joined the college as an adjunct clinical assistant professor in the Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery.

The AAOMP exam, a two-day, 16-hour exam, tests the clinical and histopathologic diagnostic skills of individuals seeking board certification within the fraternity.

The HEED Award measures an institution’s level of achievement and intensity of commitment in regard to broadening diversity and inclusion on campus through a number of initiatives.

Beginning January 1, 2019, Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida will transition administration of the center over to UFCD. All oral health care services and educational programs will remain the same.

Andrew Corsaro, D.M.D., is a team leader in the predoctoral clinics, assisting in clinical affairs and quality, and providing patient care in the college’s faculty practice as a general dentist.
