Patient Information : How to Become a Patient

The Prosthodontics department has four different clinics. They include Faculty Practice, Maxillofacial Prosthetic Services, Graduate Prosthodontics, and Predoctoral (Student) Clinics.

Faculty Practice Clinics

This is essentially an "in house" limited private practice where full time University of Florida College of Dentistry faculty treat patients. Patients may be referred to faculty practice dentists by a licensed physician or dentist. All types of general and specialty treatment are available. Not all patients can be accepted, however, because of the high demand. For further information, call (352) 846-2606.

Maxillofacial Prosthetic Services

Located in Faculty Practice, they can be contacted by calling (352) 846-2684 or the above number.

Graduate Prosthodontics

Patients in this clinic are treated by residents, expanding their education in Prosthetic Dentistry, under the supervision of faculty who are certified Prosthodontists. Due to overwhelming interest, a waiting list may be required. Please call (352) 273-6910 for details. This clinic is typically 1/3 the cost of an outside dentist.

Predoctoral Student Clinic

For details on how to be seen by a student, click here to visit our student clinic page. This clinic is typically 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of an outside dentist.
