Instructional Support
Below you'll find information on the instructional support services provided by the Information Technology department and the Office of Education.
Classroom/Conference room scheduling policy.
- Electronic Exams: The testing center is managed by the Office of Medical Informatics and is utilized by the Colleges of Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, and others through the academic year.
- Streaming Videos/Presentations: Videos and presentations from various sources can be converted into the Mediasite format for placement onto our streaming server.
- Video Production: Develop a video production with editing, narration and graphics; Make requests one week in advance; Meet to discuss project, create timeline, select output; Create storyboard/outline and narration script; Shoot video; Record narration; Edit video; Create graphics; Review video and make final corrections; Allow 1-4 weeks for final production depending on the complexity of the project.
- Web-based Instruction: The college's customized Electronic Curriculum Organizer (ECO), as well as the University's e-learning application are both available for faculty to use as web-based instruction tools.
- Student computer requirement: Student computers should have a DVD player/burner and comply with the UF computer requirements.
