Kashtwari earns Diplomate status with the ABOMR

Kashtwari_DeebaCongratulations to Deeba Kashtwari, B.D.S., a clinical assistant professor in the University of Florida Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Diagnostic Sciences. She earned Diplomate status of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (ABOMR) on January 6, 2015.

Kashtwari joined the college in July 2014. She received her dental degree in 2003 from the Al Ameen Dental College of the Rajiv Ghandi University of Health Sciences in Bijapur, Karnataka, India. She completed a clinical research fellowship in 2011 and earned her master’s in oral and maxillofacial radiology in 2014, both from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

She worked in several private practice settings before continuing her education in North Carolina, where she served as a teaching assistant for four years during her studies. At the UF College of Dentistry, she is teaching D.M.D. courses and graduate education, treating patients in the college’s faculty practice center, and participating in clinical research endeavors.

Kashtwari will be officially recognized as a Diplomate of the ABOMR during the association’s annual session in March in Indianapolis, Indiana.
